I worked for a large portrait studio for six years before taking a deep breath and starting my own business in 2010. Since then I have had the honour of photographing hundreds of families in the places that they love. I believe that building rapport with families is the best way to get beautiful, natural portraits.
Today, I live in Bingley with my wife, Fran and my daughter Lana. Lana and I dance, wriggle and jump our way through days and I love being a father, husband and photographer.

My philosophy is simple. I take beautiful photos to capture your character through natural expression. The moments and looks that you'll want to cherish forever. The ones that you'll frame in your home for years to come.
A family portrait session begins with a discussion about you, your family and the portraits you want to achieve. We will discuss the location of your session, your wardrobe choices, and the best time of day for your session. Portrait sessions are relaxed, informal and usually last around 2.5 hours; enough time to get to know the whole family and to capture a range of beautiful portraits. Your edited portraits are shown at a viewing in your home. You will have the chance to see a number of options and to see your images visualised in your choice of frame. A solid oak desk framed 7"x5" portrait is included.
All of my frames are made by a local art framer and are made from solid ash or oak. Frames are sealed to protect the natural wood; or can be finished with charcoal, lime, or any Farrow and Ball paint colour. You can choose from frames with multiple mounted images or a classic mounted single image. Most families invest between 600 and 1200 pounds on framed portraits. If you would like the freedom to make your own prints, fully retouched digital negatives are available at 695 pounds.
